Specialist Developer
- Stood up an isolated instance of credit checking application to support a dashboard designed to provide insight into BNY Mellon's FX exposure to major financial institutions. Dashboard identified over-exposure to a particular counterparty within its first week of Production usage.
- Designed and developed back-end enhancements to non-negotiated trade processing system to allow multiple high-profile clients to trade additional products.
- Worked with business users on multiple occasions to expand credit checks from point-in-time evaluations to performing calculations iteratively across the potential life-time of a trade.
- Develop back-end software for various stages of foreign exchange trading. Lead developer on two applications of differing purposes and designs, including one which touches all electronic trading. Contributing developer to several other applications.
- Coordinate design, development, and testing with geographically dispersed colleagues in the US, Europe, and Asia.

- Primary developer on new trade processing system and oversaw upgrade of another that allowed BNY Mellon to meet the European Union’s MiFID II regulation deadline.
- Developed enhancements to same trade processing system and managed decommission of previous system allowing BNY Mellon foreign exchange to move to a new pricing engine, saving the bank several million dollars per year.
